Mixed e-Catch

Did I tell you I’ve had the most wonderful Mother’s Day celebration this past weekend? I think that weekend was made especially for me. I felt so treated, loved, and pampered by none other than my housemates and I am so thankful. No, I didn’t have the most fancy and luxurious presents someone could have, but the grateful me is beyond happy for having these two housemates around me. They are are an extra blessings in my life!

First off, the husband agreed when I asked him to help me buy this much desired Samsung WB150F SmartCam. He refused at first, since I just purchased the WB750 during my birthday over a month ago but when I told him that I am going to get rid of the WB750 by selling it just so I can upgrade to the latest SmartCam, he, though a bit reluctant, positively nodded. Lol. I was thinking of selling it on eBay but when I offered it to my groupmates at Facebook, I am thankful that Mommy Jessica was courageous enough to buy it from me! He he he. I assured her that she will be getting a great point-and-shoot camera in mint condition and I hope my description was worth it! Lol.

And off I was blessed with the new SmartCam from Samsung! Yay! 

It still looks the same with the WB750 model, but it is much more advanced. What makes it a Smart camera is its many features and editing options within the camera setting itself and its WIFI ability! Yes, it is WiFi, baby! I couldn’t believe it, actually, until I’ve tried its WiFi function by directly uploading a photo from the camera to my Facebook via our WiFi connection! Indeed, a smart camera! And of course, it is more pricey than the old WB750, but I am positive that as long as this won’t get damaged, I’ll stick to this awesome point-and-shoot shutter for at least 3 years! Lol. 

Next, my housemates gave me an OFF from my household chores. They washed the dishes for three days and minded what needed to be done the entire weekend. It helps that I was having headaches, too, so I really was able to rest.

I have had some share of their TLC via those gentle and sweet caresses and massages, and a quick pedicure to the salon and these yummy pancakes which is the husband’s expertise!

Ahh… pregnancy entitles me to all these loves and pamperings and I am but very lucky! Lol. Let’s see if they’ll stay this good when Baby#2 comes out! May be they’ll sleep and sleep and will leave me tending the baby restless and sleepless! Ha ha ha.

And after the husband assured me of his lasting love via his Mother’s Day e-mail, the daughter made her own version of a card, too, which beautifully resulted to this:

What a beautiful creation of a 5-years old without any coaching from anyone! I am one blessed Momma, indeed! I asked her why she chose green for the heart’s color and she answered me saying that “green means growth to her. Therefore, a green heart means a heart with growing love.” How’s that?

My Mother’s Day might not be the fanciest that others dream to have, but the simplicity of it all is what I cherished most. Motherhood is bliss and my housemates rock! Lol.
